Parker is a world leader in the design and manufacture of motion and control technologies. The wide-reaching company has more than 50,000 employees located in 50 countries supporting 139 divisions with 309 manufacturing locations. That’s a heck of lot of people in a ton of different places.
Parker recently developed a new brand campaign that unified the look and message of all those divisions into a singular vision. But, how on earth does one communicate what the new brand means to that many employees – all in different countries and speaking different languages?
Find an innovative way to internally launch Parker’s new brand campaign to employees and other brand stakeholders.
Create an interactive mobile experience that allows employees to put themselves directly into the campaign itself, creating an emotional bond between the user and the brand.
Introducing Parker Spotlight: a mobile app and desktop microsite that allows Parker employees to become the stars of the company’s new brand campaign. Users simply snap a pic through the app and it dynamically creates an “ad” in the style of the new campaign. The ad is automatically added to the photo stream (in app and desktop). The users are also able to share their expression through social channels. Other posters are then encouraged to vote for the best content through by “Liking” their coworkers ads. The employee created ads with the most Likes earned their creators Apple products, paid time off and other Parker swag.
