Playhouse Square: Digital Advertisements
At the heart of downtown Cleveland lies Playhouse Square, a vibrant community of theater and light (with an exquisitely gargantuan chandelier to prove it). With its fantastic shows drawing more than 1 million guests annually and worldwide attention, the district’s renaissance is in full swing. As an integral member of CLE’s cast, the largest theater district in the United States outside of New York City needed an equally impressive way to connect with the neighborhood.
How could we leverage Playhouse Square’s new video boards, video marquees and huge Skylon board to showcase the neighborhood and as position the media as a stand-alone ad platform?
Create an online and mobile interface that allows for plug-and-play advertising on the district’s main drag.
In designing and implementing a customizable platform for Playhouse Square to bring their video boards to life, Recess brought simplicity center stage. Whether on desktop or mobile, the fine folks at Playhouse Square are able to input content, change colors, and customize images at their fingertips. This fresh approach to digital advertising eliminates the guesswork and delights district visitors with up-to-the-second, original and captivating displays of information.
