Introduction
As someone who started at Recess as an intern as she finished up her double major in graphic design and painting (and minor in illustration), it’s no surprise that Sophie is a talented designer. And, considering her ability to add new life to every brand she works on, you might say she was born to use her creativity for big things.
But it hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows for Sophie. To this day, she cannot get over Warner Brothers’ outright refusal to produce a Batman Beyond movie in the Spiderverse animation style. Plus, Sophie suffers from submechanophobia, or the fear of manmade objects submerged in water, making it nearly impossible for her to enjoy the 1997 box-office smash, Titanic. Still, she finds solace in Cleveland’s big-city feel and small-city charm, leaning on her cat, Hobbes, for emotional support throughout her journey.
